Film Photography + Illustration + T. S. Eliot's poem in handwriting = Book One
Inspired by Thomas Krempke's photohtaphic diary Das Flüstern der Dinge, this book project pairs film photographs from a weekend trip with two sections of T. S. Eliot's Preludes.
Instead of a narrative sequence, images of this book are interconnected through their spatial and sometimes visual relationship. Excerpts from Eliot's poem are broken down into short sections, and are disarranged in order to fit the visual themes on different pages.
Together, the images, writings and drawings form a fragmented visual documentation of one's memory.
